Senior Financial Accountant

System One is assisting a Tulsa client with a search for a Senior Financial Accountant.  Our client is experiencing some changes and needs someone who will jump in and help figure things out.  Great people!

Responsibilities:

• Involved in month-end and year-end close process making various journal entries
• Preparing account reconciliations and conducting account analysis
• Review account variances comparing actual to budget and prior year and developing explanations
• Maintain accounting for fixed assets and related depreciation
• Continuously look for ways to improve processes using automation
• Assist with pulling information together for external auditors

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting with preference for some public accounting experience in audit
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required, CPA a plus
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and internal controls
• Proficient with Excel and comfortable with ERP systems
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
• Organized with a strong attention to detail while still working efficiently
• Positive attitude with a strong work ethic

Salary:  $75K - $95K
