Position: Senior Naval Architect / Marine Engineer
Overview:
We're looking for an experienced engineering professional to lead significant vessel design projects and manage a team of engineers and designers. You’ll play a key role in both hands-on design work and project oversight, helping us deliver innovative solutions for vessel construction and modification.
Key Responsibilities:

Project Leadership:
Oversee major engineering projects or several smaller ones with complex features. Plan, coordinate, and direct all project phases. -
Design & Engineering:
Lead the conceptual, detailed, and production design of new vessels and modifications. Solve technical challenges and perform/verify engineering calculations. -
Project Management:
Develop and manage project schedules, ensure work is completed on time and within budget, and coordinate with clients to define new tasks. Provide cost estimates for future work. -
Collaboration & Mentorship:
Work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including junior engineers and CAD/modeling staff. Mentor and support less experienced engineers. -
Client Relations:
Attend client meetings and help build strong, long-term partnerships. -
Technical Drawing:
Create and review detailed CAD drawings for vessel modifications, repairs, outfitting, and site plans. -
Compliance:
Follow all safety, environmental, quality assurance, and security protocols.
Required Qualifications:

Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Naval Architecture & Marine Engineering from an accredited institution. -
Experience:
10 years in a relevant engineering role, preferably in the marine industry.
