Tank Integrity Engineer

Job Summary:
Responsible for ensuring the safety, reliability, and compliance of storage tanks and related equipment. This role involves conducting inspections, assessments, and maintenance planning to maintain the integrity of tanks used in various industrial applications.
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct regular inspections and assessments of storage tanks to identify potential issues and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Develop and implement maintenance and repair strategies to address identified issues and extend the life of storage tanks.

Collaborate with other engineering teams to design and implement upgrades and modifications to tank systems.

Maintain accurate records of inspections, assessments, and maintenance activities.

Provide technical support and guidance to operations and maintenance teams regarding tank integrity issues.

Stay up-to-date with industry best practices, standards, and regulatory requirements related to tank integrity and safety.
Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.

Minimum of 5 years of experience

Proficiency in non-destructive testing (NDT) techniques and equipment.

Strong knowledge of industry standards and regulations, including API 650, API 653, API 570, and ASME codes.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
