Technical Inside Sales Representative position provides service to customers for information about products and its uses, prices, availability. The customer base may include internal company employees such as the sales and factory staff or outside customers.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
- Prepares quotes and processes orders by ensuring that inquiries are addressed completely and that all transactions necessary to support the quote and order fulfillment process meet or exceed customer expectations.
- Responsible for arranging deliveries, invoicing and processing product returns.
- Support local small assemblies. These assemblies are expected to be clean, small, straight forward instrumentation products.
Other Job Responsibilities:
- Display a consistent high level of professionalism at all times. This is shown in timeliness, appearance and appropriate relationship with other associates.
- Promote company products and services through various methods. Ie: in person, online or telephony-based tools.
- Proactively provide solutions and value to our customers.
- Seeking to learn and understand customer problems.
- Be proactive in communicating customer’s order status or notifying them of any backorders.
- Submit technical inquiries through corporate or other means.
- Maintain a commitment to continuous learning.

- Assist with leading and directing other Inside Sales Representatives in meeting their daily goals of performance.
Minimum Job Requirements:
Education:
- College degree preferred
- Minimum High School Diploma or GED required
- Ability to handle multiple priorities and multitask well in a fast paced environment

Office Equipment and/or software knowledge:
- Proficient with Microsoft Office 365 – Outlook, Excel and Word
- CRM (Contact Resource Management)
- ERP system – SAP preferred
Physical / Mental Requirements:
- Travel may be required but is expected to be less than two weeks per year
