Job Summary:
One of our Client is seeking a MariaDB/Oracle Database Administrator to join our team! This role offers the opportunity to leverage your current knowledge of relational database expertise to ensure stability and scalability of our enterprise database platform. You will not only focus on installing, configuring and updating our current environment of hundreds of instances, but will also ensure that current and future instances are optimized to meet the needs of our evolving business
Duration: Direct Hire
Location: Bala-Cynwyd, Pennsylvania, (3days Onsite)
Responsibilities & Qualifications:
Bachelor s degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline required
5 years of experience with MariaDB required
3 years of experience with Oracle required
Strong relational database knowledge, troubleshooting, and performance tuning required
Thorough understanding of the Linux operating system and Linux shell scripting required
Thorough understanding of database backup and recovery concepts required
Experience with enterprise monitoring tools such as SQL Diagnostic Manager for MySQL and Oracle Enterprise Manager or similar tools
Knowledge of high availability architectures
Cloud experience a plus
