Under the direction of the Distribution Supervisor, the Distribution Lead will develop and communicate daily work assignments within the department; possess a good understanding of shipping operations and related processes; demonstrate the ability to perform any of the various operations within the Distribution Group; interact with other departments to resolve problems that interfere with productivity and/or distribution.
Requirements
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Ability to perform duties as described for a Material Handler 1,2 and 3.
- Ability to perform duties of a Shipping Clerk.
- Conducting training for new or less experienced employees.
- Coordinates order pulling and material handler functions to ensure productivity, distribution, while maintaining inventory accuracy.
- Monitor and maintain the ERP/MRP and departmental reports.
- Develops and communicates daily workload/tasks assignments to department.
- Ability to understand and implement regulations and compliance in transporting goods.
- Ensures all departmental and company procedures are followed.

- Ability to work any shift.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Four years work experience working in Materials and Shipping applications. Requires a working knowledge of the M3 Shipping modules.

- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk/computer screen
- Moderate physical effort – able to lift between 50 lbs at times.
- Ability to perform repetitive motions for long periods of time.
