Under the direction of Human Resources Manager, you will collaborate with organizational leaders in the factory to align human resources strategies with business goals. You will serve as a strategic advisor and ensure leadership and workforce development, engagement, and performance. Key responsibilities include managing talent acquisition, workforce planning, employee relations, organizational development, performance management, and compliance. The HRBP uses data-driven insights to guide decision-making and works closely with leadership to implement HR initiatives that support organizational growth and culture.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Partner with different departments and leadership to understand business needs and develop Human Capital initiatives, policies and procedures that provide solutions and drive organizational performance and growth.
- Drive workforce planning and talent acquisition; develop and implement new strategies to attract and retain top talent.
- Support performance management processes; provide coaching and guidance to leaders on improving team member performance.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to employees and management in resolving workplace challenges.
- Foster a productive, positive and inclusive workplace culture that promotes our strategic goal of Employer of Choice.
- Help leaders identify training needs and create development programs to enhance employee skills.
- Promote leadership development and support succession planning initiatives.
- Support organizational change initiatives through communication and employee engagement.
- Collaborate with Human Capital team and leadership to ensure competitive and equitable compensation practices.
- Support benefits administration, payroll and safety.
- Ensure compliance of labor laws at the federal, state, and local levels including EEOC, OSHA, DOL, and Kansas State Department of Labor.
Requirements
The following are education and experience criteria used to evaluate the suitability of the Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) Profile or candidates for the position:
- High school diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 6 years related human resources experience.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is an asset.
- Professional level of written and verbal communication required.
- Able to work proficiently in a team-oriented setting, as well as independently.
- High attention to detail and discretion.
- Proficient knowledge of employment law, including claims, cases, and documentation.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in HRIS and LMS. Paylocity and Dayforce preferred.
- Membership and Certification from Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) is preferred.
