We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Maintenance Specialist with expertise in Allen Bradley PLCs, Studio 5000, and Fanuc Robotics to maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize automation systems in a regional automotive manufacturing environment. This role focuses on preventative maintenance, system reliability, and continuous improvement to minimize downtime and maximize equipment efficiency. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring operational continuity and enhancing production performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preventative & Predictive Maintenance: Develop and execute maintenance plans for PLCs, robotics, and automation equipment to prevent failures and extend operational lifespan.
- PLC Programming & Troubleshooting: Modify, optimize, and troubleshoot Allen Bradley PLCs using Studio 5000 to ensure seamless production processes.
- Fanuc Robotics Maintenance: Perform diagnostic checks, troubleshoot faults, and implement optimizations to maintain robotic efficiency and uptime.
- System Diagnostics & Optimization: Analyze system performance, identify inefficiencies, and proactively implement corrective actions to improve production reliability.
- Automation & Controls Support: Maintain, integrate, and improve PLC-based automation systems, industrial networks, and HMI interfaces.
- Electrical & Mechanical Troubleshooting: Perform hands-on diagnostics, repairs, and calibrations on automation equipment, including hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical control systems.
- Root Cause Analysis & Problem Solving: Investigate recurring technical issues and implement long-term solutions to enhance system stability.
- Documentation & Compliance: Maintain updated documentation of PLC logic, robotic programming, and maintenance procedures while ensuring compliance with industry safety standards.
Minimum Education & Experience Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Automation, or a related field.
- PLC Expertise: Hands-on experience programming and troubleshooting Allen Bradley PLCs using Studio 5000 and RSLogix 5000.
- Robotics Maintenance: Strong background in Fanuc robotic troubleshooting, diagnostics, and optimization.
- Automation & Controls: Experience with HMI development, SCADA systems, and industrial automation technologies.
- Electrical & Mechanical Systems: Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical control systems in an industrial setting.
- Communication Protocols: Familiarity with EtherNet/IP, DeviceNet, Modbus, or other industrial communication protocols.
Special Requirements:
- Certifications: Allen Bradley and Fanuc Robotics certifications preferred.
- Software Proficiency: Experience with FactoryTalk View, AutoCAD Electrical, and industrial troubleshooting software.
- Industry Experience: Prior experience in automotive manufacturing, industrial automation, or a high-tech maintenance role preferred.
