About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and hands-on Lead Database and Integration Specialist to join our team. This position requires an exceptional balance of leadership, technical acumen, and healthcare industry knowledge. This is a contract to hire position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and mentor a team of developers specializing in SQL, SaaS, and Cloud development.
- Foster a collaborative environment, guiding the team in best practices, technical growth, and career development.
- Design, implement, and maintain robust data models and integration solutions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business and operational requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Provide innovative solutions to complex challenges, particularly in database design and system integration.
- Ensure system reliability, scalability, and performance.
- Hands-on involvement in SQL development, cloud integration, and data management.
- Utilize expertise in HealthEdge and/or EPIC, and other healthcare technologies to ensure seamless integration and data flow.
- Act as the right hand to leadership, aligning technical execution with strategic goals.
- Bridge the gap between technical and business teams, ensuring cohesive workflows and outcomes.
- Serve as a trusted advisor and coach to team members, building a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience:
- 10 years of IT experience, with a focus on database and integration technologies.
- Strong background in healthcare systems, particularly HealthEdge and/or EPIC.
- Proven experience in leading technical teams while remaining hands-on.
- Technical Skills:
- Mastery in SQL, SaaS, and Azure cloud technologies.
- Expertise in data modeling, integration, and healthcare-specific platforms.
- Soft Skills:
- Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
- Strong communication skills, able to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Preferred Attributes:
- Familiarity with Medicare, Medicaid, and other healthcare payer systems.
- Experience with Agile methodologies.
- A proactive and adaptable mindset.
