About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Payroll Analyst to join their team on a long-term contract basis. This role is ideal for professionals who have hands-on experience with multi-state payroll processing, strong knowledge of HRMS systems (especially SAP Payroll, SuccessFactors, and Kronos/UKG), and a detail-oriented mindset.
Key Responsibilities
- Process biweekly payroll for ~3,500 employees across 5 entities
- Ensure accurate handling of wages, taxes, benefits, and deductions
- Maintain payroll records including vacation, earnings, cost centers, and schedule changes
- Resolve payroll discrepancies, manage ACH returns and wire transfers
- Support compliance and legal inquiries (e.g., W-2s, subpoenas, verifications)
- Assist with employee data management and payroll reporting in SAP/HRMS
- Collaborate on payroll close, unemployment compensation, and special projects
Qualifications
- 4 years of experience in Payroll or HR in a corporate environment
- High School diploma required; associate or bachelor’s preferred
- Strong experience with SAP Payroll and multi-state payroll
- Familiarity with HR policies and procedures
- Experience with Kronos/UKG and SuccessFactors is a plus
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
