Security Observability Engineer (SIEM)- Onsite in Columbia, SC
SYSTEMTEC is seeking a senior Observability Engineer (SIEM) for a high-profile opportunity in Columbia, SC. The position will focus on the implementation, integration, and operationalization of security technologies. Candidates with QRadar,, Palo Alto SIEM, and/or syslog-ng are highly preferred. This would be an onsite role based in Columbia, SC.
Required Qualifications of the Security Observability Engineer (SIEM):
- Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. We are unable to provide sponsorship or work with Third-Party agencies.
- Must be comfortable with ONSITE work in Columbia, SC.
- Deep-rooted expertise in cyber security awareness.
- Experience with Linux, Windows, and Network Security protocols and procedures.
- Expert understanding of access control, logging, and reporting systems.
Responsibilities of the Security Observability Engineer (SIEM):
- Logging and Event Management. Ensure that appropriate security logs are ingested into the SIEM and/or log aggregation platform.
- Plan, design, develop, and implement enterprise security architecture solutions that align with business goals and risk tolerance.
- Lead process definition, redesign and/or technology innovation of security architecture.
- Design, deploy, and manage countermeasures to known security threats and develop preventative mitigation strategies for new and emergent threats.
Work Location: ONSITE IN COLUMBIA, SC.
