Accounting Manager

Located in Redmond WA, SystImmune Inc. is a bio-pharmaceutical company focused on the treatment of cancer through developing novel therapeutic bi-specific, and tri-specific antibodies, as well as antibody-drug conjugates (ADC's). Our objective is to create biologics that work through systematic intervention on the solid tumor micro-environment, to either directly attack the tumor and/or to activate the immune system to attack the tumor.

Major responsibilities:

• Oversee the general accounting functions, including but not limited to accounts payable, general ledger, and account reconciliations and daily bank reconciliation.
• Prepare and review accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring alignment with GAAP and current financial legislation.
• Prepare Cost Sharing calculation, tax provision calculation and intercompany transaction calculation.
• Support Parent Co. in preparing consolidated financial and provide supporting calculation upon request.
• Coordinate with external auditors for half-year and year-end financial audits.
• Manage the daily operations of the accounting department, cash management and AP management.
• Develop and maintain robust internal controls, preparing and recommending accounting policies and procedures.
• Coordinate with different teams on LIMS review and Payroll and Benefits relate calculation.
• Support all areas of operations as requested by management, with the flexibility to adapt responsibilities based on the individual's skills and professional development interests.

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years or more of progressive experience in Accounting or Finance, with experience in both fields preferred.
• Comprehensive knowledge of U.S. GAAP.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively across all levels of the organization.
• Knowledge of employee relationship building and performance management techniques.

Preferred Qualifications:

• CPA or other equivalent certifications highly preferred.
• Previous experience with a Big Four accounting firm highly valued, indicating a strong background in accounting practices and standards.
• Understanding of US tax regulations, particularly in the biotech/pharmaceutical industry.
• Bilingual abilities in English and Mandarin are highly advantageous, facilitating close collaboration with our parent company's finance department.
• Proficiency in NetSuite and SAP software

Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a relevant field. Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.

The hiring pay range for this position is $80,000 - $110,000 per year based on skills, education, and experience relevant to the role.
