We are hiring a great Forklift and Materials Handler to work in our Plant Warehouse in beautiful Bend, Oregon. This position is responsible for ensuring that all established shipping, receiving, and warehousing processes are followed. This includes outbound distributor shipments, receiving materials, organization, inventory, and material transfers to support all departments’ processes within the brewery. A successful candidate must be able to safely operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment, including the ability to drive semi-trucks on-site to move products as needed. Candidates should work well in a team-oriented environment to accomplish the company’s strategic initiatives while providing excellent service to our many internal and external customers.
We are actively seeking to fill the following opening: (Schedules may adjust depending on production needs)
- Thursday - Saturday (3/12s): Night shift from 5pm-5:30am (this position will earn an additional $3.00 per hour for working the evening shift).

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work safely and be actively engage in site safety programs.
- Move materials in support of all operations, this includes raw materials, finished goods, and waste(s).
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment, including the ability to drive semi-trucks on-site to move products as needed.Prepare materials for production’s use.
- Efficiently organize raw materials and the organization and rotation of finished goods.
- Keep warehouse and production floor safe, clean and free of debris, prepare lines at shift change and stocked for incoming shift.
- Unload and receive raw materials and shipments.
- Complete all necessary paperwork (i.e. tickets and orders), read and understand specifications for all products. Also, able to read and understand production schedule and Materials Lists.
- Work closely with team members to be more efficient, troubleshooting problems and helping find new or better solutions.
- Participate in and promote continuous improvement activities.
- Interface with maintenance personnel to assist in resolving equipment/process problems on a daily basis, and assist supervisory team.
- Works in compliance with Food Safety Management System and GMP's.
- Keep warehouse manager informed of key issues for the department.
- Operate in a support capacity with other departments.
- Help in planning and solving the space constraint issues in the plant.
- Communicate product shortages to the warehouse manager. Work across departments to fulfill customer orders.
- Communicate frequently with other team members to ensure all critical work is being completed.

COMPENSATION:
Wages: Base wages when joining this team start at $21/hour plus an additional $3.00 per hour for working the night shift making the pay rate $24.00 per hour. QUALIFICATIONS
- Strong communication skills
- Warehouse experience preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Perform the responsibilities of Warehouse Forklift Driver/Loader
- Forklift Operator Certification within 30 days from starting
- Semi-truck driving experience is strongly preferred
