Job Summary:
We are seeking an organized and customer-focused Customer Service Representative/Dispatcher to join our team at T&D Electrical LLC, a leading electrical contracting company. This dual-role position is key to ensuring seamless communication between our customers and field technicians, coordinating schedules, and managing customer inquiries. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and able to provide exceptional customer service while efficiently dispatching technicians to job sites.
Responsibilities:
Customer Service Duties:
- Act as the primary contact for customer inquiries, service requests, and scheduling questions related to electrical work.
- Provide information about our services and assist customers with inquiries.
- Process customer service requests, job estimates, and follow-up calls to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Update and maintain customer profiles and service records in our CRM system.
- Handle customer complaints and escalate issues as needed, providing quick and effective resolutions.
Dispatcher Duties:
- Schedule and dispatch our technicians to residential, commercial, and industrial job sites according to customer needs, location, and project priority.
- Utilize dispatch software and GPS tracking to monitor and update field personnel on job statuses and any project or location changes.
- Communicate important information such as site conditions, equipment needs, and client requests to electricians to ensure job readiness.
- Manage scheduling conflicts, unexpected delays, or emergencies by reassigning technicians or adjusting schedules.
- Maintain detailed records of dispatch activities, including work orders, job statuses, and service logs.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in customer service, dispatching, or a role within the electrical or service contracting industry.
- Strong multitasking, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with an emphasis on clear and professional customer interactions.
- Familiarity with GPS tracking, and CRM systems.
- Knowledge of electrical service terminology and basic electrical safety standards (preferred but not required).
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle unforeseen scheduling issues effectively.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
