The Receiving Clerk will check and unload inbound freight. Receiving Clerks are responsible for receiving materials and product against Purchase Orders by entering them into a database. They will move materials to and from production as needed. They will organize and consolidate items and maintain general warehouse upkeep.

Job Summary:
The Receiving Clerk will check and unload inbound freight. Receiving Clerks are responsible for receiving materials and product against Purchase Orders by entering them into a database. Duties/Responsibilities:
- Unloading packages and freight from incoming trucks
- Monitors freight movement with the use of various computer programs
- Collaborating with Purchasing and Procurement staff to list expected deliveries
- Receiving shipments and signing paperwork upon receipt
- Practices safe lifting and loading techniques
- Provide assistance to various departments in handling materials and picking orders
- Conduct inventory counts when needed
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills, with proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to operate a Forklift
- Strong understanding of applicable Occupational Safety and Health requirements and other related safety policies and best practices
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software as required to monitor and maintain records and inventory.
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
- 6 months logistics, retail, or customer service experience
- Forklift Certification preferred or willing to obtain
- Prolonged periods standing and up to four hours per shift working on a computer
- Must be able to lift at least 60 pounds.
- Must be able to work in both hot and cold climates and in an environment with many noises and odors
