T&M Associates is seeking a dynamic and experienced Regional Market Sector Leader to expand our Remediation Practice in the New Jersey region. This role will be critical in growing our market presence and business, focusing specifically on industrial remediation services.
As a Regional Market Sector Leader, you will lead the growth and market expansion of T&M Associates' Industrial Remediation Practice within the New Jersey region, developing and strengthening client relationships within the industrial and private sectors, focusing on market strategy, branding, growth and the development of service offerings.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy to build new relationships with industrial clients, expand market share, and identify new opportunities for growth within the industrial remediation space. This includes leveraging existing relationships, cultivating new business with clients, developers, manufacturers, and other key stakeholders, and providing strategic direction for expanding service offerings and identifying new revenue streams.
- Lead the preparation of technical proposals, cost estimates, and risk assessments for industrial remediation projects, ensuring competitiveness and alignment with client expectations.
- Foster a collaborative team environment by mentoring and managing a diverse team of professionals, including Licensed Site Remediation Professionals (LSRP), engineers, scientists, and project managers. Provide leadership in recruiting and retaining top talent.
- Monitor industry trends and regulatory changes to ensure the practice remains ahead of the regulatory curve and to be well-positioned for future business opportunities.
- Implement quality assurance and quality control processes for ongoing projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards, regulations, and client specifications.
Required Qualifications:
- B.S. in Civil or Environmental Engineering, Geology, Hydrogeology, or a related field from an ABET-accredited university. A PE (Professional Engineer) or PG (Professional Geologist) license is highly preferred.
- 15-20 years of experience in the environmental industry, with a significant focus on industrial remediation and site clean-up projects involving soil, groundwater, and hazardous waste management.
- Proven expertise in the industrial remediation sector, particularly in the New Jersey region, with established relationships with key industry players, developers, and regulatory agencies.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks such as RCRA, CERCLA, TSCA, and relevant state-led programs (e.g., NJDEP regulations).
- Demonstrated success in business development, including client relationship management, proposal development, and securing new work in the industrial sector.
- In-depth knowledge of the environmental remediation process, including site investigations, remedial design, and the operation and maintenance of remediation systems.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and motivate teams, while creating a positive, collaborative working environment.
