Overview
Sign-on Bonus of $1,000 & Starting Pay of $27.53 per hour!
Class A Driver will shuttle trailers of finished goods and raw materials to plants, warehouses, and customer locations. Will be responsible for dropping and hooking trailers and completing yard moves. This work is located in the Columbus, Grove City, Central Ohio area. The Driver will start and end their shift at either our Grove City or Columbus, OH locations. We are currently looking for drivers on 2nd shift. Applicants must be available for 2nd shift hours (6 pm - 6 am: Sun. - Weds or Weds. - Sat.)
Responsibilities
- Responsible for dropping and hooking trailers and yard moves
- Responsible for shuttlng trailers between plants, warehouses, and customer locations
- Must maintain a valid Class A CDL license and DOT medical card
- Maintain excellent safety record
- Maintain a professional image
- Ensure that all equipment is kept in good working order by coordinating regular PM’s with the vendors
Qualifications
- Knowledge of DOT regulations
- Team player
- Organizational skills
Competencies
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- 2 years over-the-road experience
- Must be at least 23 years of age or older
- Must maintain a valid Class A CDL license and DOT medical card
- Must maintain all DOT qualifications at all times
