Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently using the cash register.
- Maintain an organized and well-stocked sales floor by restocking shelves and managing inventory.
- Engage in upselling techniques to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales.
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding product features, promotions, and store policies.
- Exhibit excellent phone etiquette when answering customer inquiries or taking orders over the phone.
- Supervise junior staff members when necessary, providing guidance and support.
- Perform basic math calculations for transactions and inventory management.
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of the store environment.
Experience
- Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred but not required.
- Strong cash handling skills with experience operating a cash register.
- Bilingual candidates are highly desirable to assist a diverse customer base.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with customers and team members.
- Familiarity with stock management practices is a plus.
- Experience in upselling techniques is beneficial.
