The Vendor Manager at T-Mobile is responsible for managing and optimizing relationships with key vendors to ensure efficient and cost-effective procurement of goods and services. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee’s eligible earnings in the prior year. - Analyzes and manages vendor costs to achieve cost savings and efficiency improvements
- Prepares and presents reports on vendor performance, cost savings, and other key metrics to leadership
- Contributes to the operational excellence and strategic goals of the organization through expertise in operations, logistics, supply chain, and inventory management
- Bachelor's Degree Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field (Required)
- Master's/Advanced Degree Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field (Preferred)
- 2-4 years Implementing strategic planning and best practices in procurement and risk management (Required)
- 4-7 years Managing and optimizing relationships with vendors in a corporate setting (Required)
- 4-7 years Analyzing vendor costs and managing budgets to achieve cost savings and efficiency improvements (Required)
- Vendor Management Expertise in managing and optimizing relationships with vendors to ensure efficient procurement and compliance with contract terms. (Required)
- Strategic Planning Ability to develop and implement strategic plans that align with organizational goals and optimize vendor relationships. (Preferred)
- Negotiation Strong negotiation skills to secure favorable terms and manage costs effectively in vendor contracts. (Required)
- Analytics Proficiency in analyzing vendor performance metrics and cost data to identify improvement opportunities. (Required)
- Risk Management Capability to assess and mitigate risks associated with vendor relationships and procurement processes. (Required)
