The Role
We're searching for a highly experienced Account Director with at least one year in a similar role to lead our work with Mars, Inc. This isn't just managing an account; it's about shaping the future of iconic brands. You'll oversee campaign content across all platforms, focusing on driving engagement and growth for a global powerhouse. This role requires a proven track record in digital production, experience collaborating effectively within inter-agency teams, and exceptional communication skills to confidently connect with senior Mars clients and our internal team.
What You Bring
The pay range for this role is $140,000-$160,000. Individual compensation will be commensurate with the candidate's experience and local cost of labor. Salary is subject to change based on factors such as geographic location and cost of living in location of hire.

What You Bring
- 6-8 years of agency experience in advertising or marketing communications, with at least 1 year as an Account Director. This experience should ideally be at a creative or digital agency with a focus on digital, content, and video.
- Proven experience in digital production.
- Demonstrated experience working effectively within inter-agency teams.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to confidently interact with senior-level clients and agency personnel.
- Collaborate with our Managing Director and/or Client Lead to manage Mars projects from inception to completion.
- Serve as the primary client contact for allocated Mars projects, building and maintaining strong relationships.
- Spearhead creative solutions and content creation across digital channels, bringing the Mars brand to life.
- Keep internal teams and Mars clients informed on project status, activities, deadlines, and deliverables.
- Oversee and/or maintain comprehensive documentation of all Mars client work-in-progress, including status reports, contact reports, and invoicing, partnering with account supervisors.
- Ensure accurate and up-to-date Mars account finances, including estimates, project time reconciliation, and timely billing.
- Protect the creative integrity of Mars projects from beginning to end.
- Work closely with all disciplines (Strategy, Creative, Media, Production, etc.) to ensure outstanding deliverables for Mars.
- Engage with external client partners for Mars, such as PR and Media teams.
- Provide constructive feedback on creative work, aligning with Mars briefs and client feedback.
- Supervise, develop, and mentor account supervisors.
- Understand and adhere to Mars client requirements and regulations for each brief.
- Delegate tasks strategically and escalate issues to senior management as needed.
