T-Rex Solutions is looking to select a Cloud Engineer to support the US Department of the Treasury TCloud enterprise cloud development effort. This effort aims to facilitate holistic multi-cloud solutions to meet the Department of Treasury's enterprise-wide infrastructure needs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing and designing cloud solutions (within AWS, Azure, GCP and OCI) and designing / building solutions, and processes to deploy, operate, and maintain resilient secure Cloud environments.
Responsibilities :
- Develop and design cloud solutions (within AWS, Azure, GCP and OCI) and Design / build solutions, and processes to deploy, operate, and maintain resilient secure Cloud environments to enable development teams to deliver features in the most efficient way possible.
- Operate and maintain cloud environments using Infrastructure as Code (Iac) and SRE principles.
- Maintenance and ongoing development of automation and continuous build / integration / deployment infrastructure for multiple environments; write, build and deploy scripts.
- Enable observability and resilience throughout multi-cloud landing zones and Dev / Test / Prod environments.
- Support implementation of security policies, standards, guidelines, and governance.
- Continuously assess, onboard, and enable new FedRAMP cloud services using security best practices for IAM and networking.
- Optimize cloud performance, security, and cost-efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align cloud strategies with business objectives

In compliance with pay transparency guidelines, the annual base salary range for this position is $100,000 - $125,000. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. T-Rex considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education / training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
