JOB SUMMARY
The Senior Human Resources (HR) Generalist will be responsible for managing a wide range of HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, compensation, benefits, employee relations and compliance. This role will work under the direction of the Human Resources Director and act as a liaison between employees and management, provide guidance on HR policies and procedures and contribute to the development and implementation of HR strategies.
QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED)
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years in Human Resources experience with a focus on generalist roles.
- Strong understanding of HR principles, practices, laws and regulations.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Prior payroll processing experience (preferably ADP Workforce Now).
- Experience with recruitment and onboarding.
QUALIFICATIONS (PREFERRED)
- SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP or HRCI PHR or SPHR certification a plus.
- Prior experience working in a multi-company environment.
- Maritime and/or energy sector exposure preferred.
- Contractor compliance and drug testing program oversight experience helpful.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Recruitment and Onboarding – oversees the entire hiring process, including job posting, candidate screening, interviewing and onboarding new hires.
- Compensation and Benefits – assists with the development of compensation plans, administration of benefit programs and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Employee Relations – addressing employee concerns, resolving disputes, and fostering a positive work environment.
- Compliance – ensuring adherence to employment laws, regulations, company policies, contractor compliance and drug testing programs.
- Data management – maintaining accurate personnel records, preparing reports, and analyzing HR data.
- Payroll Administration – overseeing the administration of the payroll and HRIS processes.
- Strategic Planning – contributing to the development and implementation of HR strategies, goals, and objectives.
SHIFT INFORMATION
The Senior Human Resources Generalist position is a full-time in-office role based out of corporate office located in Pasadena, TX. The standard work hours are Monday-Friday, 0730-16300; however, this work schedule may vary.

Salary : $75,000 - $90,000
