Position
The Assistant Project Manager (APM) will serve as a team member while assisting the Senior Project Manager and/or Project Manager on all aspects of a project. APM's will be expected to take on the role for the oversight of Projects with a specific focus on document control (RFIs, submittals, material delivery, etc.), subcontractor coordination, design team communication, project reporting and overall representation for T&T Electrical Contractors, Inc throughout the project.
Responsibilities
· Work directly with project managers to help implement project goals. Supporting the coordination and management of projects.
· Oversee variable aspects of projects and provide direct assistance to ensure timely project execution. Perform administrative tasks including document Control, RFIs, Submittals, Material Delivery Tracking.
· Maintain close relations with subcontractors, including early notification of submittal & material delivery schedule expectations.
· Monitor executed subcontracts and insurance certificates; verify contracts and insurance are in place prior to commencing work.
· Manage close-out documentation (as-builts, O&Ms, warranties, test reports, etc.) for submission to Construction Manager/General Contractor.
· Coordinate with project managers and other project leads following project execution.
· Assign duties to staff to implement project goals, as needed
· Overview project goals and ensure they are achievable.
· Review project implementation, schedule and gather data on project execution.
Salary is commensurate with experience.
Required Experience
· 3 - 5 years' experience within the construction industry in management or similar role.
· Engineer or Project Management Professional preferred, but not required
· Additional proficiencies may include Blue Beam, Microsoft Office and construction management software (Procore or similar).
· Effective interpersonal and communication skills; building rapport, listening, presenting, giving and receiving feedback.
· Must be able to work independently and with groups.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
