What are the responsibilities and job description for the Van Equipment Assembly Technician position at T & T Sales, Inc.?
JOB SUMMARY:
General duties: Performs multi-faceted work that is necessary to assemble and install components of commercial van partitions and running boards. Should have mechanic or commercial assembly experience.
What we expect:
- Safe usage of hand and power tools
- Uses work orders, drawings and follow a sequence of operations.
- Perform installation of commercial van partitions and running boards
- Maintain job files, Pick-ticket and time-card for job costing.
- Communicate with other workers to fit and align heavy parts or expedite workflow.
- Assemble storage racks in warehouse
- Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required (electrical, mechanical)
- A minimum of 5 years of relative experience acquired within the past 10 years.
- Must be able to accomplish installations, with little to no assistance or supervision.
- Ability to read, understand and interpret, instructions, drawings and technical plans.
- Ability to adhere to garage PPE and company EHS guidelines. (Safety footwear, eye protection, noise protection and welding PPE required)
