The candidate should have a fundamental interest in the automotive field, deeper understanding of ADAS and/or AV technology, and excellent communication skills. PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- As a project manager and consultant, you will be responsible for the full-scale project organization and project management of 1 to 2 projects in parallel of projects in vehicle assessment, homologation support, connected and automated driving, data collection and ADAS
- You maintain close contact with the clients and coordinate internally the entire provision of services from a technical and administrative point of view. In the event of conflicts or technical problems, you provide support in finding solutions
- This includes the supervision of contract execution and the smooth control of project relevant scheduling
- You represent the assessment reports or test results to clients and are also responsible for the technical and formal quality assurance of reports and gather expert feedback.
- Due to your technical expertise and proximity to the customer, you will also provide significant impetus for the further development of our future services
- Support the service/product management function and the local marketing & sales teams
- Support the innovation and R&D departments
- Support the development and the consistency of service execution
- Raise applicable regulations and necessary procedures for instrumentation, bring-up and test scenarios
Knowledge, Skill, & Abilities
- Profound understanding of the Automotive Business Line in particular homologation/type-approval, automotive testing in general and automotive market and general affinity towards technology.
- Very good knowledge of common project management methods and planning methods
- Proven experience in automotive testing including insight in topics like Connected and Autonomous driving, Proving Ground testing, Open Road Testing will be appreciated.
- First professional experience in projects for safeguarding driver assistance and/or active safety systems (e.g. emergency braking systems, ACC, Lane Keeping Assist, etc.)
- Knowledge of sensor technology (radar, camera, lidar, ultrasound, V2X)
- Able to communicate effectively and persuasively
- Highly motivated, self-directed, and results driven
- Accurate, with strong attention to details and flexible at the same time
- Able to work in a multicultural environment
- Detail oriented with strong organizational skills
- Able to convey technical information comprehensively to various audiences including both experts and generalists;
- Fluent in English, German is a plus
- University degree in engineering or master's degree or bachelor's degree in a technical field (electrical engineering, automotive engineering, telecommunications and/or industrial engineering with specialty in electronics or relevant experience for the position)
- The candidate must offer 10 years of experience in the automotive consulting / engineering Industry.
- The candidate must have experience in technical management, consulting and service orientated customer relation / communication
