Position Summary: We are seeking an experienced and driven Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA) to join our growing pain management team. The ideal candidate will be confident in working autonomously while also being an integral part of our collaborative, multidisciplinary care team. You will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patients’ lives through comprehensive pain management treatments.
As a Pain Management Provider, you will conduct consultations, manage patient care, prescribe medications, and coordinate treatment plans to help improve patient outcomes. This role offers the chance to work with a team of highly skilled professionals in a fast-paced outpatient setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Autonomous Patient Care: Perform history and physical examinations for pain management consultations.
- Collaborative Treatment Planning: Work with physicians, physical therapists, and other specialists to create and implement personalized treatment plans.
- Patient Education & Advocacy: Provide education to patients and their families regarding pain management, treatments, and lifestyle modifications.
- Medication Management: Prescribe and monitor pain medications, ensuring the best outcomes and adherence to best practices.
- Interdisciplinary Leadership: Act as a leader in clinical activities, education, and quality improvement, always working toward enhancing patient care and operational efficiency.
- Support & Coverage: Provide coverage for other Advanced Practice Providers in their absence and work across various clinic locations as needed.
Qualifications:
- Education: Master’s degree in Nursing (NP) or Physician Assistant degree (PA)
- Licensure: Current, active licensure in the state of practice
- Experience: At least 1 year of experience in pain management or orthopedics preferred; open to new graduates with a strong clinical foundation
- Certifications: BLS Certification required; additional pain management certifications are a plus
- Skills: Excellent communication, critical thinking, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
