As our QC Manager - Health and Safety Officer, you earn $60,000 - $120,000/year and generally work Monday - Friday, 7:00 am - 5:00 pm. We also have a terrific benefits package that includes:

DO YOU MEET THESE QUALIFICATIONS?
- 10 years of combined experience as a superintendent, inspector, QC manager, project manager, or construction manager
- 5 years of safety experience in a construction environment
- Experience with hazard identification and safety compliance
- Valid CQM-C certification
- OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety and Health certification
- Strong familiarity with USACE, EM 385-1-1, and government construction projects
- Compliance with all training, experience, and qualification requirements outlined in EM 385-1-1, Section 01.A.17
- Ability to implement and enforce safety programs in compliance with federal and local regulations
- Ability to work on Charleston Air Force Base
WHAT ARE YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES?
As our QC Manager - Health and Safety Officer, you ensure our crew members complete high-quality work while following safe working practices throughout the project. You closely oversee daily operations and conduct frequent inspections to ensure compliance with OSHA standards. Through rigorous documentation and execution of three phases of control, you ensure all work and materials meet the contract's specifications. You manage submittal reviews, approvals, and quality assurance inspections, maintaining a written log of your observations.
Prioritizing our workers' well-being, you implement and oversee an accident prevention plan and ensure subcontractors also comply with safety standards. You attend various project meetings and lead weekly QC meetings to stay informed about job updates and progress. If any mishaps occur, you investigate the cause and complete required OSHA reports. Your dedication to our team's success supports project completion and keeps our workers safe for another day.
