Job Summary: The US Army JFK Special Warfare Center and School (SWCS) conducts Survival, Evasion, Resistance and Escape (SERE) training for Special Forces (SF) and other designated military and government personnel. The SWCS SERE instructors provide training through academic lessons and scenario-based laboratory exercises for program students to accomplish SERE training objectives IAW the SERE School POI and SOPs.
This position is contingent upon the award of a government contract.
Responsibilities:
Type of Employment: Full Time
T3i Drug Free Workplace Statement: As a Federal Government Contractor, T3i is required to strictly adhere to federally mandated drug-free workplace standards. To ensure compliance with this requirement, T3i conducts pre-employment drug screening for all new hire personnel (full time, part time, and independent contractor) and annual random drug screening for all current T3i personnel. All drug screening includes testing for the following drugs, at a minimum: Marijuana (CBD, hemp oil, and other cannabidiol use may result in a positive result), cocaine, amphetamines, opiates, 6-monoacetylmorphine, and PCP. Personnel who cannot pass drug screening are not eligible for employment with T3i.

Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate knowledge and proficiency in applicable SERE instructor requirements including SERE School training SOPs and TRADOC, US Army, JPRA and DoD guidance and policy on SERE requirements and procedures.
- Complete and maintain qualification IAW SWCS SERE School instructor training and qualification standards and processes.
- Proficiently delivery SERE training and instruction to program attendees IAW the SERE School POI and SOPs.
- Assist in the care, maintenance, and upkeep of SERE facilities and equipment as necessary.
- Four (4) years of service from any military branch, having attained the minimum grade of E-5 within their respective military branch, and an honorable discharge.
- Graduate of a DoD SERE Level C course.
- Maintain physical fitness to accomplish required rigorous physical activity consistent with the SERE program training requirements and the PWS.
- Complete initial and recurring government conducted psychological evaluation by a government SERE psychologist.
- Secret clearance.
- Previous instructor experience teaching at a SERE Level C school
- Previous instructor experience teaching in a military training environment, especially high-risk training activities.
- Completion of advanced SERE training programs such as the PR 300 series courses or other JPRA certified PR/SERE training programs.
- Previous active-duty SOF experience conducting tactical ground, air and/or maritime operations.
