Job Summary:
T47 International is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and garments while ensuring quality standards and cleanliness.
Hours: 40: Mon-Friday, Weekends as Needed
Pay: $17.75 and $4.93 H&W per hour
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate commercial washers and dryers efficiently and safely
- Sort, wash, dry, fold, and iron linens, uniforms, and other fabrics as needed
- Inspect and identify stains or damages, applying proper treatment methods
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry facility
- Follow proper safety and hygiene protocols, including handling cleaning chemicals appropriately
- Maintain inventory of detergents, softeners, and other laundry supplies
- Ensure timely delivery of cleaned items to designated areas
- Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in laundry services, housekeeping, or a related field preferred
- Ability to operate industrial laundry equipment
- Attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Willingness to follow health and safety guidelines
