Job Description
The Corporate Safety Coordinator is responsible for managing the development and consistent implementation of the T5 EHS department.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Assists coordinator(s) in document control and development for EHS departmentManages and supports new project safety information requests and submissionSupports and manages OSHA compliances reports across business unitsLeads and supports corporate EHS orientation overview for all new hiresOversees all corporate safety initiatives, programs, and activitiesManages internal safety programs, systems for organization and consistencyOversees all EHS metrics and will send out reports on a routine basisSupports on workers compensation claims and incidentsSupport and help manage PPE across business unitsQualifications
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in safety3 years of similar experience as a safety administrator, coordinator or functionConstruction Safety ExperienceKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND COMPETENCIES
Thorough understanding of all relevant safety rules and regulationsAdvance knowledge of constructions safety standardsExceptional leadership skills with the ability to motivate employees to achieve long term vision while adjusting to daily challenges.Ability to challenge, explain, and defend safety programs with diplomacy.Excellent organizational skills with high level of attention to detail.Outstanding verbal and written communication skills with strong interpersonal skills and ability to coach andtrain others.
