Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Safety Manager to join our team in Muskogee, United States. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing comprehensive safety programs while ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations and standards.

Develop and maintain workplace safety programs and policies aligned with OSHA requirements

Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments across facilities

Lead accident investigations and implement corrective actions

Coordinate safety training programs for employees and contractors

Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of safety initiatives through metrics and reporting

Manage emergency response planning and preparedness

Oversee safety compliance of contractors and subcontractors

Create and maintain safety documentation and records

Collaborate with department heads to implement safety protocols

Analyze safety data and prepare detailed reports for management

Lead safety committee meetings and initiatives

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health, or related field

5 years of experience in environmental health and safety (EHS) management

Proven experience in developing and implementing safety programs

Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and compliance requirements

Professional safety certification preferred (CSP, CHST, OHST, CIH, or CHMM)

Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities

Strong project management and organizational skills

Effective communication and leadership capabilities

Proficiency in safety management systems and reporting tools

Experience in conducting safety training and presentations

Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines

Valid driver's license and ability to travel to various locations as needed

Excellent organizational skills with high level of attention to detail.

Outstanding verbal and written communication skills with strong interpersonal skills and ability to coach and train others.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Ability to lift equipment in small spaces without mechanical assistance, weighing up to 100 pounds
