Job Description
WHAT MOVES YOU?
The Human Resources Coordinator (HRC) is responsible for providing Human Resources related services to the team members working in the Southern Indiana Logistics Center (SILC) and other assigned warehouses
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Championing and advancing TA Service’s values and culture by role modeling appropriate behaviors and maintaining one’s own engagement.
- Ensuring every team member receives excellent service from HR, including giving a kind reception at the time the individual contacts HR, maintaining each team member’s confidentiality, providing timely and accurate information, and quickly following-through on team member requests.
- Act as liaison with temp agencies, providing communication regarding staffing needs, temp team members transitioning to full time, and any other necessary communication.
- Ensuring the onboarding tasks for each newly hired individual is completed including helping new team members with pre-employment tasks in the HRIS, I9s, entering new employee info into the HRIS, and any other tasks with which the individual needs assistance.

Organizing and coordinating each new hire orientation, including:
- Working closely with Talent Acquisition to build the list of orientees
- Coordinating with each manager and presenter to be sure each knows the time they’ll present
- Reserving the meeting room for the days and times the orientation will be conducted
- Setting up audio/visual equipment used by presenters
- Ensuring all handouts are photocopied and ready for distribution
- Ensuring each presenter begins and ends their presentations on time
- Ordering and setting up drinks and snacks if made available to orientees

Managing the day-to-day administration of the TA Services employee benefits, including:
- Using the highest levels of customer service, work closely with team members seeking assistance in understanding and/or troubleshooting TA Services employee benefits.
- Presenting the employee benefits portion of the new team member orientation.
- Assist the Human Resources Business Partner with rolling-out and managing the annual team member benefits open enrollment.
- Track the benefits enrollments of newly hired team members or team members who have experienced a change in life status and communicate enrollment deadlines as needed.

Organizing and coordinating team building/fun activities for team members, and may include:
- Ordering various items needed for the event including food, clothing, and prizes.
- Reserving the chosen venue for the correct number of people.
- Building and distributing event announcements, ensuring all team members are aware of the event.
- Working closely with corporate HR to manage team member leave requests and track FMLA and other leaves of absence.
- Calculating and maintaining metrics as requested by the HRBP.
- Assisting in employee relations investigations as appropriate and requested by the HRBP.
- Volunteering for and participating on special projects teams whether corporate-wide or within SILC or another assigned location. This may include rolling out and presenting to team members for training and development initiatives.
- Coordinating retention and maintenance of HR files and other related files such as medical files and I9’s.
Qualifications
- Have a high-level of self-awareness and the ability to self-assess job performance and work to develop their own capabilities and attitudes.
- Have a minimum of two years’ experience working in an HR role in an advanced warehousing operation.
- Have a bachelor’s degree in business administration, human resources, or another focus area that prepared the individual for an advanced role in Human Resources.
