A Warehouse Dispatch Admin - Inbound role involves managing the administrative tasks related to receiving and processing incoming shipments, ensuring accurate documentation, and coordinating with warehouse staff and vendors to facilitate timely deliveries.

Job Description
A Warehouse Dispatch Admin - Inbound role involves managing the administrative tasks related to receiving and processing incoming shipments, ensuring accurate documentation, and coordinating with warehouse staff and vendors to facilitate timely deliveries.
- Change the stamper to the current date.
- Enter inbound freight from BOL in CDM; route to the proper location.
- Verify the skid count on the paperwork. Document any damage or shortages on the BOL. Have drivers initial the BOL.
- Update the inbound schedule in Microsoft Teams.
- Monitor radio. Work with the cross-dock team to resolve any issues/questions with the inbound freight.
- Pre-enter Dayton Freight and Marr Road shipments.
- Scan “checked out” paperwork.
- File proper paperwork in the folder.
- Cross train on other job functions within Dispatch.
- Monitor/Answer emails, hot shipments, questions, etc.
- Answer customer phone calls, assist with inquiries.
- Must be able to work overtime including weekends.
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in warehouse administration, logistics, or a related field.
- Experience with inbound logistics and receiving processes.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Understanding of inventory management principles and best practices.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize workload.
- Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
