Duties
- Perform routine cleaning and maintenance tasks throughout the facility, including common areas, restrooms, and outdoor spaces.
- Conduct minor repairs and maintenance on equipment and facilities as needed.
- Assist in setting up for events or meetings by arranging furniture and equipment.
- Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and report needs to management.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and protocols while performing duties.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff or management.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in maintenance or custodial work is preferred but not required.
- Previous experience in a Travel Center Highly Preferred.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Ability to operate basic cleaning equipment and tools safely.
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor when interacting with staff and guests.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor, including lifting up to 50 pounds, standing for extended periods, and performing repetitive tasks.
- A valid driver's license may be required for positions that involve transportation of materials or equipment.
