Team Member/Cashier

Job Summary
We are seeking friendly and efficient Cashiers to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide excellent customer service while accurately processing transactions. As a Cashier, you will play a crucial role in creating a positive shopping experience for our customers. You will be responsible for handling cash, credit, and debit transactions, as well as assisting with food service operations when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and provide assistance with their purchases.
• Accurately process transactions using the Point of Sale (POS) system.
• Handle cash, credit, and debit payments while ensuring accuracy in all transactions.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the checkout area and food service areas.
• Upsell products to enhance customer experience and increase sales.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.
• Assist in restocking shelves and maintaining product displays as needed.
• Address customer inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally.

Qualifications

• Basic math skills are essential for handling transactions accurately.
• Previous experience in food service or retail is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with retail math concepts is a plus.
• Experience with POS systems is advantageous.
• Knowledge of food handling procedures is beneficial for roles involving food service.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
