The Compliance Manager – Strategic Partnerships will be responsible for the overall management and oversight efforts of the bank’s Strategic Partnership compliance managers. The Compliance Manager, under the supervision of the Vice President of Strategic Partnerships, is responsible for overseeing the ongoing compliance oversight efforts of the bank’s partner programs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Responsible for the management and oversight of the operational, reputational, and legal risks the bank is exposed to in its strategic partnerships business line.
- Act as the primary point of contact for compliance managers and program managers involved in the bank’s Strategic Partnership suite of products.
- Responsible for coordinating with all applicable internal departments and external parties to ensure the compliance oversight efforts related to a program are carried out.
- Ensure that program manager’s business practices, policies and procedures, customer facing legal and marketing material, software systems, customer correspondence, documents, and disclosures comply with federal and state regulations by effectively leading the compliance management team.
- Responsible for managing all oversight efforts of the compliance management team.
- Works closely with Strategic Partnerships relationship management team to ensure proper oversight of a program manager from a wholistic perspective.
- Travel required as needed, up to 25% of time, usually 2-4 consecutive days per trip.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience Requirements
- Minimum of 8-10 years of banking experience.
- Bachelor's degree strongly preferred.
- Management experience preferred.
- In-depth understanding of the strategic partnerships business.
- Direct experience dealing with regulatory bodies preferred.
- CRCM strongly preferred.

- Ability to lead and maintain working relationships among team members.
- Excellent ability to analyze and interpret complex information.
- Proficient knowledge of bank products, services, policies, and procedures.
- Sound decision making, strong self-confidence, and good judgement is required.
- Able to work independently.
