What are the responsibilities and job description for the Logistics Assistant position at Tabayer?
Key Responsibilities:
- Stock Management:
- Oversee and manage the movement of stock, ensuring accurate inventory levels at all times.
- Input and maintain stock data within our inventory management system, ensuring precise and up-to-date records.
- Coordinate and monitor stock transfers between our New York office, distribution centers, and retail locations.
- Order Fulfillment:
- Manage the fulfillment process for customer orders, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries.
- Work closely with carriers to arrange shipments, track orders, and resolve any logistical issues that may arise.
- Ensure that all orders meet Tabayer’s quality standards before dispatch.
- Supplier Coordination:
- Identify, evaluate, and establish relationships with new suppliers to support our operational needs.
- Negotiate terms and manage contracts with existing and new suppliers, ensuring the best possible terms and quality.
- Ensure a consistent supply of office and packaging materials, managing relationships with suppliers for non-stock items.
- Customer Relationship Management (CRM):
- Handle communication with customers via our CRM system, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive experience with the Tabayer brand.
- Event Support:
- Provide logistical support for Tabayer's selling events, including inventory preparation, setup, and coordination of materials.
- Assist with on-site event management to ensure smooth operations.
- Office Management:
- Oversee the management of office supplies, ensuring that all necessary materials are stocked and available.
- Coordinate office-related logistics, including managing relationships with service providers and handling incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Team Communication:
- Serve as the central point of communication between the logistics team and other departments, ensuring smooth collaboration.
- Support the overall team by providing regular updates on logistics, inventory levels, and supplier performance.
