Table 87 is on the lookout for a reliable and customer-oriented Delivery Route Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be crucial in ensuring the timely and safe delivery of our premium frozen pizzas to supermarkets across the region. Using our refrigerated trucks, you will follow a daily route with multiple stops, providing exceptional service at each point of delivery. Key Responsibilities :

Route Management :

Receive daily delivery routes and review them for efficiency and accuracy.

Drive refrigerated trucks along specified routes to deliver frozen pizza products to supermarkets.

Ensure timely deliveries and maintain a schedule that accommodates each supermarket's receiving hours.

Customer Interaction :

Maintain a professional demeanor and provide excellent customer service at each delivery stop.

Address and resolve customer concerns at the point of delivery and report back any serious issues to management promptly.

Build and maintain positive relationships with supermarket staff and management.

Vehicle Maintenance and Safety :

Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the refrigerated truck to ensure it is clean, well-maintained, and equipped for the day’s deliveries.

Report any vehicle maintenance concerns or safety issues to management immediately.

Adhere to all traffic and highway safety rules and regulations.

Communication and Documentation :

Communicate effectively with the logistics team to report on route progress, delays, or any discrepancies encountered during deliveries.

Accurately complete delivery documentation and ensure supermarket staff sign-offs at each stop.

Qualifications :

Proven experience as a delivery driver or similar role; experience driving refrigerated trucks is a plus.

Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.

Familiarity with Brooklyn and surrounding area road layouts.

Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

High school diploma or equivalent.
