What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bar Back - Blue Oak FT position at Table Mountain Casino Resort?
Purpose of Position:
Ensure table and seating presentation meet guest services standards. Provide excellent service for any guest requests.
Job Responsibilities and Duties:
• Bus cocktail tables and bar counter according to sequence of service and procedures.
• Carry dirty dishes from the bar to the back of the house dish area.
• Ensure glasses, stirrers, shakers, strainers and other bartending tools are clean and in the proper position for Bartenders.
• Replenish supply of silverware, glassware, and dishes in the restaurant bar.
• Respond to any guest requests. Service beverages to guests.
• Keep the bar stocked with liquor, beer, spirits, garnishes, ice and other products needed through the shift.
• Change kegs when necessary under the direction of the bartender or supervisor.
• Maintain cleanliness of the inside and outside bar area. Includes cocktail tables, floor, counters, bar wells, dish washers and sink compartments.
• Provide prompt, courteous guest service at all times following the Casino’s guest service standards including property greetings and farewell.
• Must maintain a smile and pleasant body language.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
Education/Experience:
• High school diploma or equivalent is required, unless otherwise waived by Human Resources Management.
• Six (6) months of work experience required. Food and Beverage experience preferred.
