By performing their duties consistently and to the level of quality required, the Sales & Event Manager will proactively generate new and return business for events at Tycoon Arcade (including Tycoon Saloon and Tycoon General Store), including birthday parties, corporate events, special celebrations and more. They will be responsible for driving traffic to the Tycoon Arcade location by soliciting customers, ensuring guests have a great experience, and actively requesting positive reviews and referrals. They will also be in charge of actively selling pinball machines and subscriptions for our dealership operation.
Description of Duties:
- Promote and advertise to attract more customers.
- Manage and schedule events at Tycoon Arcade.
- Provide the highest level of customer satisfaction and location safety.
- Manage all sales of pinball and arcade machines.
- Deliver new machines to customers.
- Ensure that the showroom is always ready for customer visits.
- Proactively manage engagement and outreach to secure new customers and retain existing customers.
- Attend trade shows and conventions as needed (up to 6 a year).
Schedule:
Active work hours are 12:00-22:00 including weekends. This is the essential time to interact with customers when they are available for events and sales. This is a salaried role and is not eligible for overtime. Substantially more time than 40 hours is required to meet deadlines, engage in strategic planning, complete independent project work, and continual learning and professional development. This time outside of active work hours is self-directed.
