JOB TITLE: Dispatcher
DEPARTMENT: Transportation

NORMAL WORKING HOURS: 12 pm to 12am - rotating days

3 days on, 1 day off, 3 days on, 7 days off

Must haves:

Valid driver's license with less than 6 points

Pass a BCI/FBI background check

Pass a full spectrum drug test

Have a high school diploma or equivalent certificate

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Answer, screen and direct calls for the transportation department in a friendly, helpful, and efficient manner.
• Distinguish and provide supportive information to customers to assist them in arranging appropriate transport.
• Provide information and assistance for customer service inquires as needed.
• Assists in scheduling, implementing and monitoring of primarily services and supports, including transporting to designated sites.
• Receive and deliver all transmissions through two-way communication during assigned work schedule with transportation.
• Serve as a ready resource with a working knowledge of Transportation laws, regulations, policies, and procedures.

EDUCATION/TRAINING/EXPERIENCE:

• High School Diploma/GED Required

SKILLS and ABILITIES:

• Pleasant and professional communication skills to all team member and customers
• Detail oriented on all documentation
• Can think outside of the box and love to learn/share new ideas and work to see them practice
• The ability to deal with sensitive people in time of need
• Will be able to multi-task while performing different duties

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 – 44 per week
