Host/Hostess – Taco Tavern (Mokena, IL)
About Us:
Taco Tavern is Mokena’s newest taco and tequila hotspot, serving up gourmet tacos, handcrafted margaritas, and premium tequilas in a lively atmosphere. We’re looking for friendly and energetic Hosts/Hostesses to be the first point of contact for our guests and help create a welcoming dining experience!
Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests with a warm and friendly attitude
- Manage seating and inform servers when guests are sat
- Take and cash out to-go orders
- Answer phone calls and assist with reservations
- Sell merchandise and promote specials
- Keep the host stand and front-of-house area clean and organized
- Roll silverware and assist with side work as needed
What We’re Looking For:
- A positive, outgoing personality with excellent customer service skills
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Previous hosting or restaurant experience is a plus, but not required
