What are the responsibilities and job description for the Wound Care Nurse position at Tacoma Nursing & Rehabilitation?
The Wound Nurse is required to be knowledgeable in all facets of wound care. Position requires at least two years of hospital or skilled nursing based experience in wound care. The wound nurse completes all daily wound care and treatment to residents and documents wound notes in EMR. Interacts with physicians / physician extenders. Keeps RCMs and DNS apprised of changes in wound status. Orientation is provided to all new employees to their job duties as well as the facility's EMR system. Applicants must have an active / no restrictions Washington State RN or LPN license. Only qualified individuals need to apply. EOE
