We are currently seeking an Accounting Clerk to join our corporate office. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills, a strong understanding of GAAP accounting principles, be tech-savvy, and have a keen eye for detail.

Responsibilities & Duties

• Prepare, post, verify, and record customer payments and transactions related to accounts receivable.
• Draft correspondence for past-due accounts and collections, identify delinquent accounts by reviewing files, and reach out to customers to request payment.
• Maintain accounts receivable reports, keeping track of the current status of customer accounts.
• Manage the full accounts payable cycle from receipt of invoice to payment, including entering and coding invoices into Sage Intacct.
• Track all payments and expenditures.
• Responsible for monthly account reconciliations.
• Perform other related duties as needed, such as bank reconciliations, journal entries, etc.
  
  

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a related field preferred.
• Knowledge of general accounting principles.
• Experience with Sage Intacct and Microsoft Office.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  
  

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay rate commensurate with experience and skills up to $55,000 per year.
