Location: Remote (with 2 required in-office days per month in Midtown Manhattan)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM (flexibility required on surgery days: 8–9 per month, including one Saturday)
Compensation: $55K (including benefits)
We are seeking a Patient Coordinator to support Medicaid patients through their surgical journeys. This role is primarily remote, with minimal in-office requirements. The ideal candidate has healthcare administrative experience, familiarity with Medicaid, and strong communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for patients, ensuring they complete pre- and post-op requirements
- Manage scheduling, referrals, and documentation in the EMR system
- Coordinate with medical staff to facilitate smooth surgical experiences
- Be available for early or late shifts on surgery days
Qualifications:
Required:
- Healthcare administrative experience in a clinical setting
- Experience working with Medicaid patients
- Proficiency in EMR systems, scheduling, and office tasks
- Expertise using Microsoft Excel
Preferred:
- Experience with sensitive populations
- Knowledge of plastic surgery or post-op care
