Compensation : $126,000 - $187,000 / year

Schedule : Flexible Shifts, Full-Time
Responsibilities as the Pharmacist :
Medication Dispensing : Prepare and dispense medications for inpatient and outpatient care while ensuring compliance.
Order Verification : Review prescriptions for accuracy, appropriate dosage, and potential interactions.
Patient Education : Counsel patients and families on medication use, side effects, and adherence strategies.
Care Coordination : Assist with medication education and discharge planning to support care transitions.
Regulatory Compliance : Ensure adherence to state and federal pharmacy regulations and medication distribution policies.
Controlled Substances : Oversee handling, inventory, and documentation of controlled substances. Qualifications for the Pharmacist :
Education : Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy required (PGY1 residency training is highly preferred).
Licensure : Active New York State Pharmacist license required.
Experience : 2 years of inpatient hospital pharmacy experience (retail experience is a plus).
Technical Skills : Experience using Epic software for pharmacy management.
