Who is TransMachine MTT :

We maximize uptime of our customer’s heavy-duty transmissions through the production and remanufacture of new and rebuilt transmission components. Our mission is redefine the customer experience for aftermarket transmission components by providing best in class quality, delivery, and product range for any heavy duty transmission component.

Summary

The Chief of Staff (COS) is the internal face of the TransMachine MTT organization to the administrative staff and the external face of TransMachine MTT to our customers for general operational challenges. He or she enables back-office functions for the entire TransMachine MTT organization based on a combination knowledge of transmission technical specifications and effective utilization of TransMachine MTT employee and machine capabilities. The COS must manage these team members effectively to achieve TransMachine MTT’s strategic unit output objectives.

Finally, the COS is on the “tip of the spear” for any operational challenge. This role will combine a detailed mindset with the appropriate strategic orientation to accomplish each day’s new challenge. The COS must have a natural curiosity to drive the outsized and exponential growth of the organization within the next five-year period. The role is the “right hand” of the President. This role potentially could replace the President as the General Manager of TransMachine MTT.

The COS is owner, promoter, and arbiter of the TransMachine MTT mission to drive transformational customer experiences in the mobility space by enabling uptime via replacement and rebuilt products.

Responsibilities :

  • Oversees the administrative back-office functions of TransMachine. These responsibilities include finance, human resources, information technology (IT), legal, supply chain, and office management.
  • Creates and implements annual budget process.
  • Manages supplier relationships, including new supplier development.
  • Oversees payroll.
  • Responsible for new employee onboarding.
  • Front line responder for employee issues and challenges.
  • Interact with TransMachine MTT financial lenders and providers.
  • Engage tax authorities to prepare and file quarterly submissions.
  • Maintain software and IT support vendors.
  • Drive facility maintenance, repair, and safety compliance.

Skills and Experience :

  • Bachelor of Science degree in business or engineering preferred
  • 5 years of manufacturing environment experience
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills required
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products, especially Excel, PowerPoint and Word
  • Strong relationship and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage daily employee relationships for 5 team members
  • Metrics :

  • Net Revenue and operating income profitability to budget.
  • Customer satisfaction. A function of high quality plus on-time delivery, driven by effective work in progress and inventory management.
  • Administrative employee work turnover. The target is zero voluntary management and administrative employee turnover.
  • Job Type : Full-time

    Pay : $80,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
