Accounting Manager

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounting Manager to oversee our financial operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong financial acumen and a thorough understanding of accounting principles. This role involves managing the accounting team, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing insightful financial reports to guide strategic decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct and coordinate all accounting functions.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Perform month end close process.
• Prepare balance sheet, profit and loss statement, cash flow statement, and other financial reports.
• Provide financial analysis and recommendations to management on short term and long term financial objectives, including pricing and capital investments.
• Develop and monitor business performance metrics.
• Oversee regulatory reporting, including tax planning and compliance
• Prepare annual budget.
• Special projects as assigned by the leadership team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (accounting major) required.
• At least 7 years’ experience in accounting preferred.
• Manufacturing experience preferred.
• Must possess knowledge of all aspects of generally accepted accounting principles. (GAAP)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, strong interpersonal skills are a must, as well as willingness to accept task ownership of new responsibilities in a fast-growing environment.
• Must have solid communication, technology, analytical and management skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Power platforms preferred.
