Description
The Golf Ambassador is responsible for assisting the Director of Golf with assisting Golf Academy Staff with all junior programs, men’s and ladies clubs, special events, member events, and academy practice sessions. As the Golf Ambassador, you must work diligently to learn and adopt the club culture, teaching philosophy, and methodology at Tahoe Mountain Club. If all lesson and event tasks are completed for the day, golf operations positions will fulfill the remainder of the day for full time work.
DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:
- Assist with Golf Operations and Academy team members in all golf operations.
- Create a fun working environment.
- Must lead by example setting a benchmark of performance in areas of image, innovation, motivation, and attitude.
- Demonstrating a commitment to personal learning and development.
- Actively work toward his/her Class A membership or maintain Class A status.
- Carry out responsibilities in accordance with Tahoe Club Company’s policies and procedures.
- Be a team player/employee and lead by example.
- Accept responsibility for personal decisions and actions.
- Spontaneously recognize and celebrate team member success.
- Be proactive in exceeding guest/member satisfaction. At times it may be necessary to investigate, quickly respond to and resolve challenges from members/guests.
- Be proactive in suggesting and debating alternative methods and procedures in solving concerns and assuring that we exceed the expectations and satisfaction of our guests, employees, and vendors.
- Ensure that superior standards of service are at all times meeting the requirements of our guests and are constantly being improved upon.
Because of the fluctuating demands of the Club’s operation, it may be necessary that each employee perform a multitude of different functions; therefore, as an essential part of your job, you will be expected to help others when the occasion arises, just as other employees are expected to help you. Accordingly, you may be expected to perform other tasks, not specifically addressed above.
Qualifications
Education/Experience: Bachelors degree or Equivalent; or 4 years related experience and/or training; or Equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language/Communication: Must possess basic computer skills – Word and Excel.Must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Must be extremely organized, efficient and detail-oriented.Must be highly motivated, goal driven and self-starter. Must be able to work as part of a team and maintain open communication with managers and fellow coworker. Must display professional demeanor and communicate in professional language at all times.
Certificates/Licenses/Safet Training: Prefer PGA or LPGA member, or Apprentice. Golf Cart Safety, CPR Preferred

Salary : $19 - $22
