What are the responsibilities and job description for the Project Manager position at Tai Corp?
Looking for support a variety of construction projects within the Food & Beverage industries? We are looking to add a Project Manager / Engineer to support CapEx projects ranging from facilities to packaging equipment.
In this role, you'll serve as a key member in managing the scope, schedule and budget of the project in addition to ensuring key stakeholders are involved throughout the process.
Here's a taste of what you'll be doing :
Managing all aspects and resources of multiple capital projects from inception through completion, developing detailed objectives and standards to meet all project deadlines & deliverables, and ensuring that all budgetary guidelines are met. Projects are typically under $1M in value.
Managing capital appropriation for assigned projects, preparing cost / benefit analysis to justify and support project approvals, and preparing detailed written reports & deliver presentations outlining the status of projects.
Managing contractor and construction activities on assigned projects, ensuring successful project execution.
Working collaboratively with the Operations and Maintenance / Engineering departments to provide technical support in the acquisition, installation, operation, maintenance, and improvement of manufacturing equipment, to include facilitating disposal of what is obsolete.
Ensuring that departmental and plant objectives are met in the areas such as Safety, Quality, Sanitation and Overall Equipment Effectiveness.
Developing and implementing process improvement projects to increase productivity, reliability, sustainability, and cost reduction.
Supporting a High Performance Work (HPW) environment by utilizing a total team approach to process improvements.
You'll be a perfect fit if you have :
Bachelor’s and / or Master’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Industrial).
Five or more years of project engineering experience in a manufacturing / industrial setting.
Demonstrated leadership, planning, organizing and communication skills.
Experience managing multiple projects from the evaluation through implementation stages.
Experience scoping capital projects, managing capital projects to budgets, obtaining equipment specifications, managing schedules, and managing construction activities.
Experience leading large project teams.

Compensation and benefits offering :
Pay : $110k - $140k (based on experience)
Annual Profit Sharing Bonus (variable depending on firm’s performance, employee performance, and tenure).
